Tesla Mannequin S replace proven in This fall 2020 earnings launch

Tesla unveiled a major redesign of its electric sedan, the Model S, in its earnings report for the fourth quarter of 2020 on Wednesday.

The company has shared pictures of its new interior and exterior of the car, due to hit the market later this year. It also introduced the “Plaid” offering, a three-engine powertrain that allows the car to go from zero to 60 mph in less than 2 seconds.

CEO Elon Musk said on the company’s Battery Day in September that the Plaid Model S will arrive in late 2021. In late 2020, Tesla shut down S / X production lines at the Fremont, California plant in preparation for production of the company’s updated versions of cars, a sedan, and an SUV with hawk-wing doors. The company said Wednesday production would resume in the first quarter and “return to full capacity over time”.

The new Model S starts at $ 79,990. The plaid version starts at $ 119,990.
